Requirements
Paddle UK is responsible for leading and setting the overall framework for all the National Associations and includes areas such as coaching, competition and representing canoeing interests at a UK level. It is developing its next strategy, and we want to hear from the people who paddle, volunteer, coach, compete, campaign, explore, support and care about the places we paddle. Across the UK, people are taking to the water in many different ways '” through clubs, with friends and family, on stand up paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, through activity providers, at events, on local waterways, and as part of their health, wellbeing and outdoor lives.
Help shape the future of paddling
As we look ahead, we want our next strategy to reflect the real experiences, needs and ambitions of the paddling community.
That means hearing from our members, clubs, volunteers, coaches, leaders, athletes, committees and partners - but also from people who paddle informally, occasionally or seasonally, those who have stepped away from membership, and those who may be interested in getting on the water in future.
We want to understand what matters most to you. What is working well? What gets in the way? What support do paddlers need? And where can Paddle UK make the greatest difference over the next few years?
At the heart of this engagement is one simple question:
